Yes, I am a few days late. I have spent the past week in bed first with migraines, and then the worst kink in the neck ever! I am feeling better finally.
Last Saturday I shared this technique:
You can order your copy of the new Pages magazine here. You can also order a downloadable edition.
As for my absence, it's nothing new. I struggled through the holiday season with terrible anxiety. When I feel this way I tend to back away from everything and everyone. I am trying to work on it, but it takes time as well as a lot of courage and hard (internal) work. I apologize for letting you guys down!
Thank you so much to all of those that have left me messages and support, it has truly helped!!
Much Love xoxox
Love you Paula!ReplyDelete
we miss you !ReplyDelete
Paula you are missed when not around, but you did not "let us down". You need to take care of yourself and if backing away for a time is part of it then it is. We will be here when you come back...sorry about the migraines, I suffer from them and know how debilitating they are.ReplyDelete
Grace and peace
It is a privilege to learn from you and have you inspire us. NEVER EVER GIVE UP...NEVER EVER think that you have let us down! EVER! xoxoxoxo MeghanReplyDelete
Not letting anyone down at all!! We will be right here when you get back. Take care of yourself. Be well.ReplyDelete
Let us down? Oh my gosh! You are sooo sweet to share your inspiration with us twice a week! I would never just take that for granted... so for me... you have NOT let me down! I know all about anxiety, and you need to take care of YOURSELF.... and we will be here when you're feeling better again...ReplyDelete
You are a total inspiration and blessing! Thanks for the video. Keep well!ReplyDelete
I can relate because I have a similar problem only mine is caused by clinical depression. I know how tough it is to pull yourself out of the abyss so I have alot of respect for your strength and tenacity!! Give yourself credit because you deserve it and don't forget to lean on your family and friends whenever you feel yourself sliding towards that abyss again. Love your Ustream videos BTW!!ReplyDelete
Sorry to hear you've been suffering Paula! Thanks for all the fabulous inspiration you give us, I always look forward to watching your UStream videos as I'm sleeping when they're live. Take care of yourself & don't feel you are letting us down ever. I'm off to catch up with your latest videos now!ReplyDelete
Paula, you are awesome and your honesty is refreshing. Thank you for sharing whats going on with you. I, too, struggle at times with my issues. You do not let people down...you are just taking care of yourself and going through whatever it is you need to do. ITS OK!ReplyDelete
Hang in there my friend...and take care
I have recently discovered adn am really enjoying your videos. Thanks. II hope you feel better.ReplyDelete
It's great to see you back with another clip! I have a panic anxiety disorder and i can relate with just how frustrating and debilitating it can be. I recently started an art journal and because of those like yourself, I am constantly inspired. Journaling is now my best form of therapy! Know that you inspire many! :-)ReplyDelete
Take care of yourself...that's number one! I love your videos and always learn something new!ReplyDelete
Love-Love all your clips! Do NOT be hard on yourself about anxiety and illnesses. I am a life long anxiety sufferer! I have learned to pull back when I need to. So don't worry about that!!! My personal opinion is that people who are artsy and creative are also much more in tune with their emotions and therefore much more susecptable to anxiety. I LOVE your work! Take things a day at a time. Hang in there and ejoy the moment :)ReplyDelete
You have such a wonderful teaching style and manner, makes me smile. Thanks so much for doing this for us all.ReplyDelete
Nooooooh! Not migraines. They are THE worst. I know. I'm so sorry you have them. You probably get tired of hearing advice & I may have already mentioned this, but I find a really good multivitamin helps stave them off. Hope you're feeling better soon. Your work is amazing & you're the best teacher ever. ((hugs))ReplyDelete
Hi Paula, I'm so sorry that you have not been feeling well - i can relate as i also suffer from anxiety and depression. Good for you for taking care of yourself. Sending you lots of love,ReplyDelete
Paula, I've been a HUGE fan of your art journals, fun teaching style and I have learned SO MUCH from you! In other words... I'll be here.
