Has it really been a week already? Hours are turning into days, days into weeks, and it's all passing me by quickly. It's for this reason that I've been digging through my book collection looking for inspiring books the get me back into the "now".
I also found my copy of The Artist's Way. I have had a copy for many years but have not read it. I decided to pick it up again this week and have read into the third week. I am not sure when I'm going to start, but the book/program is truly speaking to me. Have any of you completed it? Tips and or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Here is my newest Youtube tutorial, enjoy!
See you tomorrow with some new art.
Much LOVE xo
I really love that book. Good luck with the journey!ReplyDelete
Great video Paula. I love the Derwent inktense too and I must admit that I am still trying to get out of the mindset of not using my supplies up, in case LOL. I love the drippy's too and have just posted my own page using this but with inkpads. Thanks for sharing, you were one of the first art journaling blogs that I started following way back when and you have inspired me as usualReplyDelete
Oops forgot to mention that I have the Artist's way too but have not read it either. I think that we pick up books when we are ready for them. I am hoping that this year I read it all.ReplyDelete
Loved the video. Weird that I just bought six of these pencils yesterday and had a play almost immediately. Loved 'em. I've done The Artist's Way about three times. It's definitely worth trying and I do urge you to stick with the full amount of weeks. I always gain so much out of it, even though I don't fully agree with everything the author says. I still do morning pages now. ;-)ReplyDelete
