Thirty Minute Art Journal Pages

What a great night I had last night!  Thank you so much to those who were there to share in the fun.  I decided it would be fun to challenge myself to complete three pages at 30 mins each.  There are so many of us that feel like there is not enough time in the day to do a little art.  I hope these pages and this class inspires you to create!  Only thirty minutes needed.

I still need to title this page.  I had written "The Key to Life" in the large circle, but it didn't stand out enough so I painted it pink and will go back and write it again.

I have a bit of doodling and journaling to do on these pages, but they are pretty much done.  It was so freeing just to create, and create quickly.  Creating without worry or thought is very freeing to me.

For those that missed it, here is the recording.  Enjoy!

Much Love! xo

  1. Stunning pages! I love the first one, the colours are great x

  2. I enjoyed watching you create last night live on ustream! This was the first time I had the time to watch the whole broadcast. Fun, Paula! The layouts are FAB! Jessi xox

  3. What a great video Paula, I enjoyed every minute of it. I love your pages especially the Circle of Friends.

  4. These are wonderful. I signed up for the Sketchbook Project 2012 and chose the theme "In 10 Minutes" as a way to challenge myself to do some very quick pages.

  5. I can't wait to get home and claim a half hour for myself! Love the juiciness of these spreads! Circle of Friends is pure visual poetry :)
