I hope everyone had a great weekend. I stayed low this weekend, coming down from a stressful time at work. The stress is taking over my whole life, I even had a nightmare last night about work.
Anyway, here is a new spread:
I really enjoyed creating this. The entire 2.5 page spread was created while sitting on my couch, a little bit here and a little bit there. I really enjoyed using my new printed packing tape I found in the cheapy section of Micheal's. Lots of both old and new scrapbook supplies used. The image of the woman with the sewing machine is an old one from Artchix Studio. The fun little journaling spot is something new I bought from Pink Paislee.
I really, really love the stencils from The Crafters Workshop. I try to buy a few everytime I see them. I think I have about 10 now. :) Again, more tape from M's, and random acrylics scraped on. The "relax" is a Thicker's sticker alpha set from American Crafts that I bought from M's as well.
I'm just putting the last touches to my journal for Erin Kenepp's art journal RR. I will be sharing pics on tomorrows blog post. My journal goes to one of my friends Ophelia. So excited for this to start!
Much LOVE! xoxo
I love all of your pages Paula--the colors and layers are wonderful. What can you do to reduce some of your stress at work? I worry about you!!ReplyDelete
More fantastic pages! I'm sorry you have so much stress at work....that can't be good for you. But I guess it gives you lots to journal about.ReplyDelete
I bought some of those packing tapes at Michael's too. Plus they make packages look great.
I love the energy in these pages. I think the red really expresses the intense feelings you are having. Which Moleskine journal is this, the sketchbook or plain notebook? The paper seems to have taken the layering well.ReplyDelete
Sorry to hear you're having a stressful time! I love your pages though, as always. Wonderful!ReplyDelete
I enjoy seeing so much texture in these spreads, and the colors are bold and vibrant! Very captivating!ReplyDelete
Truly beautiful pages Paula. You are such an inspiration. I love all the layers and colors and how you put it all together.ReplyDelete
Also, thank you for the sweet comment and the kind words of support you left on my blog . It is comforting to know so many people care.
I hope your job situation settles down soon and that you are able to find some peace at your workplace. Please remember to take some time to take care of YOU.
I love your journals. They are so chaotic - in a good way. Kinda how I feel inside but can never put on paper. Thanks for sharingReplyDelete

These pages are so full of lovely layers and stuff to look at. Awesome work as usual. I hope the stresses in your life calm down soon, though you produced some fabulous pages as a result. :)ReplyDelete
