My Blue Period

After realizing that most of my pages recently are blue, my tweep Heidi called it "Your Blue Period".  I loved this title!  I just found this great link about what certain colours mean: Check it out here.  This is what it's saying blue symbolizes:

"Blue is the color of the sky and sea. It is often associated with depth and stability. It symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith, truth, and heaven."

Hmmm.  Stability?  Confidence?  Something I'm definately striving for, but am definately not there yet.

Anyway, in keeping with this period for me a few new pages completed over the weekend:

Show me Love

Thanks to all that have taken the time to comment this past few posts, much appreciated!!

Much LOVE xoxo

  1. It's a fascinating idea and something to consider as we intuitively work in our art journals, what do our colour choices mean...I wonder if perhaps it's things we are struggling with or hope to realize? Love your work, am particularly stuck by your multiple bulls eye targets in you second journal page. Great stuff

  3. Paula, I love both of these pages. I love this layering. I don't know if you put alot of layers down, but it looks like you did--so it's great looking either way.
