I've been working steadily in my journals, I now have 14 pages on the go. It's just how I work. Here are a few recent completions:

This was a really quick page, I'm enjoying the process and just playing.

Again, lots of play and a few mag clippings. I was inspired to use my Alcohol inks from Milliande's videos.
And finally:

Lots of hand carved stamps, well only two stamps, but lots of repetition. :) I carved these out of simple erasers I bought at the dollar store.
I'm spending the evening preparing pages in my journal with gesso for my trip. I am having a very hard time deciding what I want to take (art supplies that is) as my last trip was a complete fail. Wish me luck!
Much Love!
Great pages, love the variety and how distinctive each page is. I just love your grungy style. Love making my own stamps, pretty much had to because the ones I had bought we so perfect they looked out of place on my imperfect pages. I much prefer my own ruff hewn stamps. You're braver than I, I've not attempted to carve out words but have tons of designs and the like. I work a lot like you do, several pages and journals on the go at one time, never a dull moment! Have a great trip and be ready to share your art when you return :-)
ReplyDeleteI like your glasses stamp. Very nice! It's hard to know what to take when traveling. I went to visit a friend for a week-took art supplies-and never used them!!
ReplyDeleteLove your pages, especially the blue one at the bottom. I have yet to travel with journal. That will be an interesting experience when it happens, I'm sure.
ReplyDeletecool, cool, cool!!! the let go stamp is great!!
ReplyDeleteah, trying to decide what supplies to take - so hard to narrow it down to just a few for traveling.
Have a good trip!!
fantastic pages paula!
ReplyDeletelove the pages, great colours and words. I would love to go to Chicago......it seems like it would be a great shopping city
ReplyDeleteLovely pages and the homemade stamps I cut my own rom erasers as well. But words hmmmm a new idea. Have a save and fun trip.
ReplyDeleteLove these! Great work as always from you!
ReplyDeleteBlessings and love,
