My second Moleskine
Yes, I'm going back on my word. I broke in my second Moleskine today. It is the thinner page version that the Man bought me for Christmas. To make the pages sturdier I simply glued a few pages together with a glue stick. I have dedicated this new journal to trying new things... to play and grow. I'm having fun so far. And yes, to those who are keeping count, I now have 3 journals on the go. :)
Here are a few more pages:
This last page I played with gel medium and a magazine image for a transfer. I put the gel medium on both the image and my journal page. I kind of like how "rugged" it looks. I will try this again.
Have a good evening all!

Did I miss something? You weren't going to start any new journals? Well, I'm glad you did. Your pages are great. Love the circles and the blue one. The middle one didn't load for me. I have prehistoric dialup and it gets cranky.ReplyDelete
LOVE you play pages.. specially the top one!wow!ReplyDelete
oops sorry forgot to leave my name - its art girl here from adventures in art blog! :)ReplyDelete
I agree about the last page--I like that rugged look too. It's fun to experiment!!ReplyDelete
A gal after my own heart, I had three journals on the go this year too, just finished up one so I'm down to two, for now :-) I'm loving your pages, they are right up my ally, off to check out more of your blog and artwork. So glad you dropped by and left me a comment, nice to connect with a fellow Canadian!ReplyDelete

I really like the first spread with the circles on it. You really make great layered pages!!
Looking great Paula! The more the merrier I say! :)ReplyDelete
I really like the simplicity of the 2nd one. Funny how simple pages sometimes are so great.ReplyDelete
The transfer came out grungy and I lie that. I still haven't tried a transfer. Might help if I had some magazines! lol
Thanks for making me realise I could just glue some moleskine pages together. I have a thin page one as well. woohoo!
Your pages are just so rich....and makes me want to dive in! I absolutely love your work!ReplyDelete
